Architecture professor’s Eric Olsen’s work on biomimétisme (biomimicry) is published by Gallimard, Paris in a new book edited by Jean-Charles Trebbi, Chloé Genevaux, and Guillaume Bounoure, entitled Un Nouvel Art du Pli (A New Art of the Fold).
Olsen teaches at Woodbury School of Architecture in Los Angeles. He is the principal of Superficial Studio, where he works on imagining a new life for those things, especially architectural products and materials, that have been become so ubiquitous that they have been rendered invisible.
