What Can I Expect from Orientation?

WUSO is what we call the Woodbury University Student Orientation experience. It’s not just one day….it’s an experience, it’s a vibe. WUSO is comprised of three parts.

Step 1: Placement Exam

A student holding a piece of paper and their parent stand on the grass, both wear pink and have an intrigued look on their faces.

Some programs require a math placement exam. Uncertain if you need to take one? Check out the Mathematics Placement Guide If your program does require one, you will receive a link from your admissions counselor.

Step 2: Onboarding

New students gathering in a crowd in the shade of oak trees. The central student has a wide smile and wears a white crochet shirt.

Woodbury University onboarding is our online orientation module. This is a short overview of all the campus resources available to you. It takes around 30-45 minutes to complete.

Step 3: Your Schedule

Three students look at a phone, the center individual holds a camera by their chin.

Next comes your schedule! Your Professional Advisor will contact you. Please refer back to the Onboarding for more information.

Parent Session

While students are exploring the campus, parents can attend a dedicated session that aims to provide valuable guidance and support to parents during this important transition. For any questions regarding orientation, please email us at [email protected].

Celebrate Your Future

We’re looking forward to welcoming you onto campus and sharing all the information to get you ready to start the next steps in your education!
