Graduate Transfer Requirements

Graduate students interested in transferring graduate level coursework to any of University of Redlands, Los Angeles’ master’s programs must meet the requirements set by the department. The following shows a breakdown of the majors and minimum transfer requirements.

Graduate Architecture Transfer Students


  • Graduate students admitted to the two-year M.Arch or MID degree programs may transfer up to 12 units.
  • Graduate students admitted to the three-year M.Arch or MID degree programs may transfer up to 18 units
  • Graduate students admitted to the one-year MS.Arch. degree may transfer up to 6 units.

All Transfer courses must be applicable to a specific degree requirement, and a grade of B (3.0) or better must have been received.

Graduate Business Transfer Students


  • A maximum of six (6) semester units of postgraduate-level credit may be transferred, where applicable to the Woodbury MBA degree.

Transfer Credit from Foreign Colleges and Universities


International applicants must arrange to have transcripts evaluated by a NACES-approved credentials evaluation service. The foreign college or university must be recognized by the Ministry of Education or equivalent agency of the country in which it is located.
