Counselor Connection

We invite high school, community college, and independent counselors to attend Woodbury University’s Annual Counselor Connection event.

    • Learn about our 20+ undergraduate programs and tour our beautiful 22-acre Burbank campus
    • Receive a $1,000 per year scholarship voucher that you may give to one of your lucky students who enrolls at Woodbury University for the Fall 2020 semester

If there’s one subject more stressful to students (and parents) than how to get into college, it’s how to pay for it once you’ve been accepted. On Feb. 8, 2020, Woodbury University will seek to temper that anxiety with actionable information, in a financial aid workshop open to the community.  

All high school students, transfer students, and DREAM Act students are welcome to attend and bring their parents. An English and Spanish-speaking financial aid professional will be available to answer questions regarding applying to and paying for college. The event is free; prospective attendees are requested to RSVP to ensure that sufficient seats are available for everyone (RSVP link will be shared).  

The event will be on Feb 8th from 10 AM-12 PM!


  • 9:30 AM -10 AM: Check-in
  • 10 AM – 11 AM: Financial Aid Session 1: “What You Need to Know About Financial Aid”
  • 11 AM – 11:30 AM: Financial Aid Session 2: “FAFSA: A step-by-step presentation”
  • 11:30 AM – 12 PM: One-on-one financial aid + admissions counseling

Portfolio Workshop 2017

SOA Spring Portfolio Workshop

  • Woodbury School of Architecture will be hosting a portfolio workshop. The workshop will begin with a presentation that covers general portfolio design guidelines and best practices. Following the presentation, applicants will have an opportunity to present their portfolio to a faculty member for direct feedback. We look forward to working with you on your application materials.This workshop is for transfer undergraduate and graduate applicants only.Register

Creative Workshops – College of Liberal Arts

High School juniors and seniors, here’s an opportunity to explore your creative potential. Learn about Woodbury University’s College of Liberal Arts and explore the range of creative programs that COLA has to offer. Take one of the following free hands-on workshops:

Join us for the “MBA Experience” to learn more about our AACSB-accredited MBA program. At this event you will have an opportunity to:

      • Get an introduction to Woodbury University
      • Hear from the School of Business Dean, Dr. Joan Marques, and the Associate Dean and Director of the MBA program, Dr. Satinder Dhiman, who will talk about the program and the student experience
      • Participate in a Q&A with faculty and alumni
      • Application fee waivers will be provided to all attendees
      • Refreshments and snacks will be provided, and free parking is available on campus

Portfolio Workshop 2017
