As the Director of Admissions at Woodbury University, Sabrina provides senior level leadership to the recruitment, admission and enrollment initiatives across all student populations for Woodbury University.
Sabrina has more than 19 years of experience in higher education, non-profits, enrollment management and marketing. She holds a BS in Fashion Marketing and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. In her free time, you can find Sabrina trying to get through her reading list for the year, binge watching old X-Files and Twin Peaks episodes on Netflix or heading to the closest live music venue.

Woodbury is not only academically competitive, but the faculty and staff genuinely care about the success of their students. For that reason, I am blessed to be part of a department where I can work with individuals and make their education dreams come true. Although education requires a great amount of time commitment, in the end, it is one of the most rewarding accomplishments one can achieve.

Earning her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Woodbury University, Janet is able to give prospective students her representation of Woodbury University’s School of Architecture in San Diego from an alumnus’ perspective as well as from an administrators perspective.
Keeping in touch with current and alumni students and making connections in between is important and valuable in growing and nurturing our Woodbury community.
Aside from her work in the Office of Admissions, Janet has taken advantage of the opportunities that Woodbury University presents. She took a group of students on a volunteer build trip in Mexico in the Summer of 2015 and is currently working with a community garden in the neighborhood of Logan Heights with a mini grant obtained from Woodbury’s Architecture and Civic Engagement Center.

Oscar is a Woodbury Alumni, who graduated Woodbury University in 2014. He was part of the business program where he studied, Marketing. He now works with the Admissions office, sharing his Woodbury Experience with prospective students. Oscar is a campus recruiter for the university. “I had a very positive experience at Woodbury, and enjoy sharing it with prospective students”. In his free time, Oscar enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He likes attending various different music concerts and events around the Los Angeles area. He has recently set on a personal goal to learn how to cook.

Ovsanna is a Woodbury University alumna, obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2008 and her Master of Arts in Leadership in 2015. Originally from Armenia, her family migrated to the United States in 1991. She was raised in Hollywood, California, where she attended John Marshall High School, and furthered her education at Woodbury University thereafter. Having been a former student at Woodbury she is most fond of “focus, commitment and accessibility Woodbury offers the students”. In her current position as a Graduate Recruiter and Coordinator, she works directly with all graduate students during the admission process.

I attended California Lutheran University for my undergraduate and California State University, Northridge for graduate school. Prior to joining the Admissions team at Woodbury University, I served as a High School College Counselor for a charter management organization in the northeast San Fernando Valley. It was a pleasure working with high school students and supporting them with their post-secondary pursuits. I feel that as an Admissions Counselor, now I have the opportunity to guide students from the college application phase into the college admittance stage. I am also dedicated to improving my community through my community service involvement. I am a Publicity Co-Chair for Comision Femenil of San Fernando Valley. A non-profit professional service organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the Latina, her family, and her community through education, leadership development and community involvement. I would also like to share that I have experience with Federal TRIO programs with my participation in Upward Bound and Student Support Services. I am excited to promote the renowned programs that Woodbury University has to offer with prospective students.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Karina began working at Woodbury University during her studies in the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program. She then continued her studies, and graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Woodbury. Karina is the Admissions Counselor, working with those Undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in Architecture or Interior Architecture. Her extensive background in teaching and program mentorship reaffirms her dedication to the success of her students in inspiring them to become life-long learners.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Elizabeth is a proud product of private school education. She is an Alumna of Woodbury University, having earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. As the Admissions Counselor for the College of Liberal Arts, as well as Woodbury’s Psychology and Communication programs, Elizabeth comes to Woodbury with extensive experience in student service. She has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of student populations ranging from elementary school students all the way up to post-doctoral and working professionals. Elizabeth now assists students in the admissions process and is inspired to help students achieve their educational goals by attending Woodbury University.

Over the last 10 years, Marina has worked in many areas of student service at various higher education institutions. She comes to Woodbury University with over 7 years of experience in international education.
As the International Admissions Counselor, Marina is committed to helping international students find the right program at Woodbury University and have a seamless admission process.
Her educational journey inspires her work, having earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Management, and Marketing, as well as a Master’s of Science in Recreation and Tourism Management from CSU, Northridge.

I attended California State University, Northridge for both my undergraduate and graduated degree. I received a B.S in Family Consumer Sciences and a M.A in Administration in Higher Education. Prior to joining Woodbury’s admissions team. I promoted higher education as a high school advising coordinator. I would assist high school students with the transition from high school to college. Now, as a campus recruiter for Woodbury University, I plan to continue promoting higher education for both high school and transfer students.
