Sabrina Taylor, MA

Associate Vice President of Admissions

As the Associate Vice President of Admissions at Woodbury University, Sabrina provides senior level leadership to the recruitment, admission and enrollment initiatives across all student populations for Woodbury University.

Sabrina has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, non-profits, enrollment management and marketing. She holds a BS in Fashion Marketing and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. In her free time, you can find Sabrina trying to get through her reading list for the year, binge watching old X-Files and Twin Peaks episodes on Netflix or heading to the closest live music venue.

Elizabeth de la Cruz, MA

Director of Admissions

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Programs: Undergraduate Domestic Applicants: Communication, Psychology, and Filmmaking.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Elizabeth is a product of private school education. She is an advocate for the undeniable benefits that can only come from participation in engaging, practice-based learning environments where students can grow their talents and strengths. Elizabeth is a proud Alumna of Woodbury University, having earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. She is currently the Director of Admissions providing senior leadership for our domestic Admissions Counselors. Elizabeth also focuses on counselor outreach, relationship-building, and collaborating across multiple departments within the Woodbury community. Throughout her professional career in education, Elizabeth has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of student populations ranging from elementary school students all the way up to post-doctoral and working professionals. She assists students and their families in navigating the admissions process and is motivated to help students achieve their educational goals and ultimately – change their life trajectories.

Marina Adlivankina Sais, MS

Graduate and International Admissions Counselor

Languages Spoken: English and Russian

Programs: Undergraduate International Applicants + All Burbank Campus Graduate Programs: Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Architecture, Master of Architecture and Master of Interior Design.

Over the last 10 years, Marina has worked in many areas of student service at various higher education institutions. She comes to Woodbury University with over 7 years of experience in international education.

As the Graduate and International Admissions Counselor, Marina is committed to helping graduate and international students find the right program at Woodbury University and have a seamless admission process.

Her educational journey inspires her work, having earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Management, and Marketing, as well as a Master’s of Science in Recreation and Tourism Management from CSU, Northridge.

Lilian Castellanos, MA

Admissions Counselor

Programs: Undergraduate Domestic Applicants: Animation, Fashion Design, Game Art and Design and Graphic Design

I attended California State University, Northridge for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I received a B.S in Family Consumer Sciences and an M.A in Administration in Higher Education. Prior to joining Woodbury’s admissions team, I promoted higher education as a high school advising coordinator, assisting high school students with the transition from high school into college. I started my journey at Woodbury as a campus recruiter, where I promoted our campus and programs to both high school and community college students locally and out of state. Currently, I am the admissions counselor for four programs in the School of Media, Culture & Design: Animation, Fashion Design, Game Art & Design, & Graphic Design.

Cynthia Cifuentes, MA

Senior Transfer Admissions Counselor

Programs: Undergraduate Domestic Applicants: Accounting, BBA/MBA 3+1, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science in Data Analytics, History, Interdisciplinary Studies, Fashion Marketing, Marketing, Management, Political Science, Professional Writing and Public Safety Administration.

Cynthia’s experience in higher education focuses on access to historically underserved students such as first-generation and low-income students. As a Coordinator for Upward Bound, a College Advisor at Birmingham Community Charter High School, and a first-generation student herself, Cynthia understands the challenges and benefits that come with attending a university. She is an Admissions Counselor for the School of Business and four programs in the College of Liberal Arts: Political Science, Professional Writing, History, and Interdisciplinary Studies. Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Chicana and Chicano Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s Degree in Chicana and Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge. A California native, Cynthia enjoys snowboarding, painting, and spending time outdoors with her dog.

Justin Stadel, MA

Admissions Counselor

Programs: Undergraduate Domestic Applicants: Architecture, Applied Computer Science-Media Arts, Construction Management, Design Computation, Interior Design, and Sustainable Practices

Justin works with undergraduate students applying to the School of Architecture at Woodbury’s Burbank campus, including Architecture, Applied Computer Science-Media Arts, Construction Management, Design Computation, Interior Design, and Sustainable Practices. Justin has a master’s degree in student counseling and a bachelor’s degree in studio art. Outside of campus, Justin has worked within the greater Los Angeles community to execute multiple public art projects, bringing together design, logistics, local interest, and partnerships. In the past, Justin has worked as a high school counselor, helping many students explore and focus their interests, guiding them in their paths from high school to college and beyond. Justin is committed to helping students realize their educational aspirations, and finding their home here at Woodbury.

Ashley Ramsey, MM

Campus Recruiter

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Ashley has been working on the Woodbury University Admissions team since June 2020 as a Campus Recruiter. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Centenary College of Louisiana and a Master’s degree in Choral Music from USC and has worked previously as a music educator in both middle school and high schools in Louisiana and California. Ashley has worked with students of all ages, and she is thrilled to continue her work with high school and community college students as a recruiter. She loves meeting new students at recruitment events and enjoys helping them discover their passions. When she’s not working she enjoys running, hiking, climbing, brushing up on Harry Potter trivia, and trying out new recipes!
