Tremco Sponsors Successful IDP Workshop for Architecture Students

Earning a license to practice architecture is an important milestone in an architect’s career. At Woodbury School of Architecture, our Career and Outreach Office helps students navigate the process.

On January 28, 2016, the Career and Outreach Office held a successful Intern Development Program (IDP) workshop for architecture students educating aspiring architects about the process of completing the NCARB experience requirement to become licensed in almost all U.S. jurisdictions.

34 students signed in for this IDP workshop that addressed recent changes to IDP requirements and the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) and explained how to sign up for IDP. The presentation was given by AIAS Architect Licensing Advisor, Jorge Ruiz.

Eric Apodaca, a 5th year BArch student at Woodbury School of Architecture, won a $100 gift card to pay for IDP.

Tremco Roofing and Building Maintenance sponsored the event providing sandwiches and drinks as well as information on roofing details and green roofs.
