Oscar Jones
Director of Financial Aid

As Director of Financial Aid at Woodbury University, Oscar is responsible for insuring the University complies with federal guidelines governing the Title IV financial aid program so you our students can benefit from all the government has to offer, in assisting you with meeting your educational goals.
Oscar has more than 35 years in Higher Education, both at the Undergraduate Level and the Graduate Level for both non-profit and for-profit institutions. Education is his passion especially when he can help you meet your educational goals. He has experience working with students from all backgrounds and is sensitive to your needs. He understands. If you ever want to have a good game of chess, he is open to all competitors.
If there is one thing he would like for you to take away. It is something a friend said to him over 45 years ago. You can never fail, because, “to fail is not a defeat; it’s a personal victory to know you have tried.”

Nury has more than 20 years of experience in Financial Aid. She holds an MBA degree from Woodbury University. As a first generation from her family, she understands the importance of pursuing ones educational goals. She is committed to helping students and families finance their education.

In her free time, you can find Marina spending quality time with her two beautiful children and husband. They love to take advantage of all that California has to offer, whether it be hanging on the beach, camping in the mountains, or hiking trails at Griffith park. She also loves going to movies with her girlfriends.

I have been a part of the Woodbury community since 2019. I began as a student studying for a BA in Psychology.
