- Problem-solving with you as you identify your goals and manage challenges along the way to graduation.

- Helping you monitor and manage your academic performance each semester.
- Recommending supports and tactical ways to help you improve your GPA
Scheduling Advising Appointments
Most students will be advised by a professional advisor located in the Whitten Student Center. In some cases students will be assigned to a faculty advisor.

Bio: My name is Marisa Adams, and it is my pleasure to serve the Woodbury community as an Academic Advisor. I received my B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Monterey Bay and I received my M.S. in Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino. Prior to Woodbury, I was in a K-12 setting as a school counselor. In my position, I am focused on supporting students in a welcoming, collaborative, and student-centered environment. I want to ensure that students leave Woodbury with not only knowledge, but valuable experiences. Outside of Woodbury, you can find me watching new shows, finding new music, and spending time with my pets.
