For the third year in a row, the Advisory Board of the School of Business has engaged in a rotating Executive in Residence program, which provides students the opportunity to gain from the vast knowledge and experience that the members of the board can give to them.
Board members — each representing a variety of different industries — meet weekly with students in one-on-one sessions to provide feedback and guidance based on career-related questions. This semester’s program kicked off on September 4 with Michael Cusumano, Vice-President of the Cusumano Real Estate Group, headquartered in Burbank.
Students from both within and outside of the School of Business scheduled appointments to meet with this influential business executive, who spent several hours listening and providing guidance.
The program continues on September 10, with Neil Sherman, owner of Industrial Metal Supply, a 70 year old family-run metal distribution company that his headquarted in Sun Valley, California and has six locations throughout Arizona and Southern California.
