Assistant Profesor of Communication Kristen Fuhs is the co-curator of Docalogue, an online space for scholars, filmmakers, and documentary enthusiasts to engage in conversation about contemporary documentaries. Each month, the site features one documentary and a conversation that is initiated by two writers who have been asked to write a few words about that film. Once these initial posts go live, the site is opened up for comments and discussion from the larger community.
Interested in watching the film with others? Each month Docalogue also organizes a virtual, live-viewing event when the community can gather to watch the film together. Live tweeting is encouraged!
November’s film is I Am Not Your Negro (Raoul Peck, 2016), and the live-tweet will take place on November 12th at 6pm, PST. Follow Docalogue on facebook and twitter (@docalogue) for updates!
