The Drawing Symposium at Woodbury School of Architecture

As a part of the Woodbury School of Architecture Spring 2016 Lecture Series, five faculty members from across the school – Mark Ericson, Heather Flood, Marc J Neveu, Heather Peterson, and Gerard Smulevich – gathered for a symposium on drawing on February 16.

Recognizing that a drawing is a noun and also a verb and that it is a conceptual and perceptual act, the panelists discussed the role of drawing in education. Should we learn drawing as a way of seeing, thinking, projecting communicating, or, other?

Five minute presentations by each panelist were followed by an open conversation moderated by Woodbury School of Architecture Chair, Los Angeles, Marc J Neveu.
