Annie Chu Selected as a Panelist in the AAa/e Masters Series

Professor Annie Chu will be serving as a panelist as part of the 2017 Asian American Architects/Engineers Association (AAa/e) Master Series. The Master Series provides “…a platform for empowering professionals working in the built environment in personal and professional growth, business development and networking, and leadership in our community.”

The Masters Series provides a forum, where “Masters” in their respective field of the A/E/C community, can empower and inspire other professionals by sharing their personal stories and their path to success. Their testimonies span both personal and professional growth as these areas are often intertwined.
Two architects and two engineers will share their stories about the challenges they faced and how they dealt with those challenges – obstacles and successes.

Annie Chu is an architect, interior designer, educator, and a founding principal of the award-winning CHU+GOODING Architects in Los Angeles with a deep portfolio of Interior Architecture projects focusing on world-class arts, cultural, and higher education clients. Leveraging her design reputation, Annie champions interior architecture as a distinct and emerging discipline, advancing design excellence through teaching, public speaking, design juries, and her leadership in the civic and professional realms. Annie’s appointment echos her commitment to professional service; she currently holds serves on the AIA Interior Architecture Committee, on the Design Review Committee to the UC Santa Barbara Office of the Chancellor, and on Contract magazine’s editorial advisory board.
