Woodbury COVID-19 Social Distancing Signage Project Wins National Graphic Design Award

Woodbury University’s COVID-19 Social Distancing and Wayfinding Signage project was nationally recognized as a 2021 American Graphic Design Winner by Graphic Design USA, a leading professional industry trade publication.

The project, sponsored by Woodbury’s Agency for Civic Engagement (ACE), included temporary physical distance wayfinding signage to assist students, faculty/staff and visitors on campus. The light touch, colorful and playful markers were designed to uplift spirits while encouraging safe behaviors.

Jeanine Centuori, Director of ACE and Professor of Architecture, and Cate Roman, Professor of Graphic Design, lead the project with architecture students, Iris Fung and Adrian Rios, and graphic design students, Ellie Poulin and Nya Walker.
