WOODBURY ALUMS IN THE NEWS: Jade Royer (BArch ’23)

Jade Royer just graduated from Woodbury in Spring 2023 — and she’s already making headlines.

This BArch major and avid world traveler was born in Rennes, France, and spent 8 years living in Hong Kong before coming to LA with her twin sister at age 18 to study at Woodbury. While here, she took on:

• A lead role in the 2023 Solar Decathlon Build Challenge, centering around the construction of Southern California’s first permitted 3D-printed home
• An immersive and stimulating year-long internship at HA+MA, an LA-based architectural firm
• And a senior thesis designing a truly creative and inspiring post-anthropocentric park in nearby Surfridge, where humans and non-humans can interact and benefit one another
