Dr. Oliver has serve for 31 years in the Los Angeles Community College District in a variety of educational and administrative positions. He has been Dean at LA Valley College, President at Los Angeles Mission College, and President of Pierce College. In Business, he was founder and president of a computer consulting company and a technical institute.
Currently, Dr. Oliver serves as President of the Board of Directors for Build Industries, a non-profit corporation. The core business of Build Industries is to assist individuals with barriers to employment in achieving their highest potential by providing a variety of employment services that enable them to enhance their quality of life, independence, and vocational growth.
Having served on numerous boards and having earned many awards for excellence in service, Dr. Oliver will donate his time, insights and expertise to our students on Tuesday, September 5, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
