Philosophy Faculty Delivers Closing Remarks at Unmentionables Symposium

Philosophy professor Rossen Ventzislavov delivered the closing remarks at The Unmentionables Symposium this spring. The symposium was aimed at establishing a precedent for welcoming previously unmentioned ideas in spatial practice and theory, bringing together a broad range of notable thinkers and designers in literature, architecture, film, art, philosophy, and interior design. In his closing remarks, Professor Ventzislavov urged for a pluralist transdisciplinary approach to the ethical, aesthetic, linguistic and political implications of design. The remarks led to a spontaneous open-ended discussion, which re-energized the audience and helped conclude two unforgettable days of creative and intellectual exploration on a high note.
