Interior Architecture Students Attend ASID National Summit

Woodbury interior design students recently attended SCALE: The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) National Student Summit. Students networked with peers and professional designers over three days in DTLA. Students met with potential employers, attended workshops, toured DTLA design firms and projects, and learned about new products and services. The theme was health and wellness, as students learned about WELL Certification via International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) presentations focused on the intersection of sustainability and well-being. Thanks to the coordination efforts of faculty members Christoph Korner and Nina Briggs and to donors Kelsey Kees, Pamela Leone and Rene Dake Wilson, Woodbury students had the rare opportunity to engage with design industry leaders and luminaries, equipping them for success in future design practice.
