Heather Flood Explores Ungendered Design in Beginning Design Education

Woodbury School of Architecture Undergraduate Chair Heather Flood recently participated in the National Conference on the Beginning Design Student. The conference was held at the University of Cincinnati.

Heather was invited to participate in the panel titled ‘Ungendered Design’ that looked at the work of leading female educators in the United States. Her presentation highlighted the work of Woodbury students enrolled in the first year studios in the School of Architecture. The theme of the 2018 conference was TIME. The conference focused on the ways in which the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE are considered and engaged in beginning design education.
