Join Woodbury students in a final exhibition of work, a special humanitarian activity and a discussion of the recently completed Study Away Program to France!

France Study Away Exhibition
Thursday, July 27, 2017, 4pm – 6pm
Ahmanson Building, Woodbury University, Burbank

This summer, our students traveled to Europe to volunteer with NGO’s working with migrant refugees. Their final project reflects the lessons learned and experiences shared during this month-long adventure overseas! As part of a special activity planned for the event, we will be preparing personal kits to be donated to the Skid Row Housing Trust, a local organization helping Los Angeles’s population of homeless migrants.

We are asking that you bring any of the following items to be donated to Skid Row Housing Trust:

For the Healthy Eating Kit:  Spatula, Slotted Spoon, Pan, Pot, Collander, Grater, Cloth shopping bag, Baking sheet
Foods: Squash (any variety), kale, fruit, spinach, oatmeal, carrots, onion, garlic, unsalted nuts, canned beans

For the Back to Work Kit:
Note pad portfolio, Pens, Interviewing technique books, Resume prep information books, Ross gift card (to buy interview attire)/used interview clothes or shoes.

Student travel partially supported by the Ken Nielsen Endowed Scholarship Fund and the Nick Roberts Endowed Scholarship Fund.
