Business Insider Magazine Features Woodbury’s Fashion Marketing Influencer Marketing Course

Woodbury University’s Fashion Marketing program was featured in Business Insider magazine as the first institution to launch the ‘American Influencer Council (AIC) in the Classroom’ course.

“Starting this month, the AIC will also launch “AIC In the Classroom,” with a summer course at Woodbury University in Burbank, CA, taught by professor Wendy K. Bendoni (who is a professional advisor member of the AIC). The AIC plans to expand this program by partnering with accredited institutions each semester. ” – Business Insider Magazine

The AIC strives to sustain the integrity and viability of the influencer marketing industry in the U.S., which is projected to reach $15 billion by 2022.

Wendy K. Bendoni, Chair of the Marketing and Fashion Marketing programs at Woodbury, welcomed Qianna to address her virtual ‘American Influencer Council in the Classroom” course to share her career trajectory and amazing adventures in the digital landscape. Qianna established the social media departments at both Saks Fifth Avenue and at the US Tennis Association/US Open and held senior editorial roles at Nordstrom and Time Inc. A few of Qianna’s contribution to digital marketing include:

  • First, Grand Slam to have the Snapchat Lens while at the US Open
  • First, luxury retailer to make Instagram shoppable whilst at Saks Fifth Avenue
