Mark Kirkland is a three-time Emmy award-winning director and an award-winning filmmaker. He has worked as a director for The Simpsons for 30 years where he holds the record for directing the most episodes of the series. He is a member of The Animation Guild, Local 839, he is an associate member of the American Society of Cinematographers and he has served as the Animation Peer Group Governor for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
