School of Business Welcomes Dr. Kevin Park
At the beginning of the spring semester, the School of Business welcomed a new member to its team: Dr. Cheong Kyu (Kevin) Park, Associate Professor of Accounting. Dr. Park holds a PhD with a major in accounting from the University of Kentucky and has taught at the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Ajou University in Suwon, Korea. As a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Dr. Park is familiar and comfortable teaching advanced managerial topics in accounting at both, the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) levels. As a scholarly academic, Dr. Park’s primary research interest is in the area of financial reporting and non-financial reporting (CSR). Several of his works on these topics have been published in internationally recognized journals. Over the past six years, Dr. Park has published 18 articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work more than 20 times at conferences.
