Please join us at Cafe MSJ on Thursday, March 31, 2016 for the screening of “Bowling for Columbine“. Filmmaker Michael Moore explores the roots of America’s predilection for gun violence.
The screening will be followed by discussion, refreshments, and music. We are pleased to announce our two guest speakers will be:
–Margot Bennett, Executive Director of Women Against Gun Violence
–Joshua Stepakoff, victim of Gun Violence, Speakers Bureau of Women Against Gun Violence. In 1999, at the age of 6, Josh was shot during what is known as the Jewish Community Center shooting.
This is event is free to the public and sponsored by the School of Media, Culture & Design and Graduate Admissions.
