Jeff Neumeister, co-chair of the School of Business’ Accounting program, was recently recognized with two honors: the San Fernando Valley Business Journal ‘Trusted Advisor Award’ and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts/ Consultants’ Training Institute’s (NACVA/CTI) ’40 Under Forty Award.’
The Trusted Advisor Awards, were given by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal to the Valley’s top achievers in the areas of legal counsel, banking, accounting, insurance and wealth management at the Hilton Woodland Hills last August. In the accounting category, Neumeister, who is also the owner and CEP of the full-service accounting firm, Neumeister and Associates, picked up the ‘Innovation Leadership Award.’
“The event helps to recognize the importance of the relationships these professionals have developed with their clients as they guide them through this complex business environment,” Business Journal Publisher Charles Crumpley said at the event. ““This is a way to acknowledge some of our top-performing professionals.”
The professional association, NACVA/CTI is looking to “give voice and opportunity to the next generation of industry mavericks” though its recognition of younger members of the profession. Neumeister was among 40 accounting and financial consulting professionals from around the world recognized with this honor for 2019.
