WUHO Gallery Exhibition Fund

Located on the iconic Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame, the Woodbury University Hollywood Outpost (WUHO) invites a diverse audience to a vital and celebratory place for learning about architecture and interior architecture. Woodbury University has occupied this 7500 square foot storefront and studio space since 1995. WUHO provides a forum for the demystification of the disciplines of architecture. This porous venue invites visitors to learn about the built environment, and supports public programming for the dissemination of architectural knowledge.

WUHO Now What

The WUHO gallery provides a showcase for architecture and interior architecture’s myriad forms: from exhibitions of scholarly research, multi-media screenings, group photography exhibitions, drawing and model showcases, a space for full-scale mock-ups, prototypes and environmental installations, to workshops, symposia, lectures, book launches, gallery talks, performances, and community and city planning forums. The upstairs studio at WUHO is host to a fluctuating group of emerging and experimental architects, interior architects and artists, who are also Woodbury faculty members, and provides another rich layer for multi-disciplinary, boundary-crossing dialogue and collaboration.

The facility is shared with the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design. For gallery specific inquiries email [email protected]

Endowments

Endowment reflects the support of alumni and friends who are helping shape the university’s present and future. Endowment refers to assets that are invested for the long term and intended to provide a permanent source of financial support for the university. This is in contrast to expendable funds, which are typically used for immediate needs.

Legacy Giving

Woodbury alumni and friends who want to support the university can do so and reap the income and tax benefits. Planned-giving benefits may include life income, future continued use of gift property, and avoiding capital gains tax as well as providing donors with an immediate income tax deduction.

Scholarships

Too many outstanding admitted students choose another university due to costs. As recognized by US News & World Reports, we are among the West’s best universities. But unlike the majority of those institutions, we cannot yet meet 100% of student financial need. Expense should not keep a qualified student from learning at Woodbury University. And with your help, we will make sure it doesn’t.

Increasing opportunities through financial support does more than give an outstanding student the chance of a lifetime. It also represents an investment in our future.

Schools and Programs

Through a gift to your school, you can help Woodbury University continue the great work of students, faculty and staff. Their efforts have helped many of our schools and programs achieve national prominence because of the excellence of our faculty and the achievements of our alumni. With accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, many of our programs are further distinguished by discipline-specific national accreditations and associations.
