The Fashion Design program has a rich history of involving students and organizations in realistic design projects within the educational environment. To fulfill this commitment of real-world design experience and community outreach, Woodbury Fashion Design students have worked on an exciting collaboration with the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra. Students design and construct performance gowns for musicians. They are tasked with creating garments that enhance the music and its visual presentation, along with accommodating the specific needs of different performers. Our collaboration with the Burbank Philharmonic carries on Woodbury’s proud tradition of leadership in fashion design.
