Woodbury University’s High School Academy (HSA) program offers 11th and 12th-grade students an opportunity to explore college life while earning real credits over summer break. Earn college credit in courses like our Architecture Lab, offered through Woodbury’s top ranked and NAAB accredited School of Architecture or an Art & Design Portfolio course offered through our top-ranked and creative School of Media : Culture : Design.
Classes are held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning June 20 through July 27, and are held from 9 am – 2 pm or 9 am – 12:45 pm, depending on your program of interest. Check out more information by clicking the + below over your program of interest.

Offered through our School of Architecture, the Architecture Lab at Woodbury is a college-credit summer program that introduces students to the practice and profession of architecture and interior design through Woodbury University’s exceptional architecture and interior design programs. Students will be taught and mentored by some of the brightest and most creative minds in the industry over the six-week academy program and are exposed to all aspects of the creative process, from drawing, making, 3D printing, and laser cutting to digital fabrication and portfolio development.
Our undergraduate program is ranked 18 in country, all of the Architecture programs are STEM-designated, and our school is one of only 22 schools nationwide offering the National Council of Architecture Registration Board’s Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure (IPAL) program. Students are mentored by a faculty comprised of active architects, academics, and designers, and are educated as entrepreneurs and cultural builders equally committed to professional practice, theoretical discourse, and technological inquiry

Offered through our School of Media : Culture : Design, this course gives students the opportunity to develop their design and drawing skills and create work for their college entrance portfolio. A strong emphasis is placed on developing creative design concepts, gaining practical problem-solving skills, and learning the fundamentals of freehand observational drawing, and the course culminates in a project of the students’ choice related to the professions of Graphic Design, Game Art & Design, Fashion Design, or Animation
The School of Media : Culture : Design (MCD) is a thriving, dynamic school offering many challenging degree paths designed to cultivate the next generation of creative professionals. Our students are encouraged to explore the areas between and around all seven creative disciplines as they develop their personal vision and professional paths. Our students don’t just sit in classrooms; they get hands-on experience working in studios and computer labs.
