LA Weekly recently highlighted the university’s Nan Rae Gallery, on the Burbank campus, and the Woodbury University Hollywood Outpost (WUHO) located on Hollywood Blvd.
The piece noted recent exhibitions at Nan Rae, including Chronic Conundrum, a group show that was on display through September 28, featuring the work of five L.A. artists: Matthew Destefano, Rory Devine, Charlie Engelman, Regina Herod, and Joshua Holzmann. What’s more real than flesh, curated by iconic ’90s art gallerist, Sue Spaid featuring the work of Victoria Reynolds and Michael Alvarez. In addition, the Carolee Toon exhibition, curated by L.A. Times critic David Pagel, which will open in January, 2020.
The WUHO write-up included a mention of its recent exhibition, BAUHAUS.PHOTO, honoring the 100th anniversary of the famed German art school and, Imagined Landscape, an exhibition by Kilograph x ASAI x Climate Cents.
