Sustainable Practices

Program Minor

The Sustainable Practices minor is an interdisciplinary program open to all students eager toexplore today’s most pressing environmental issues. Program courses integrate knowledge of ecology, history, design, and law and public policy to better understand the complex relationships between human endeavor and the natural world. Our curriculum helps students develop links between theory and practice in real-world contexts, particularly in their major field of study. Many courses provide hands-on learning opportunities, field trips, and guest speakers who are professionals in sustainability fields.

Today’s employers are increasingly looking for candidates with green skills. A minor in Sustainable Practices is a great resume builder for every major.
