Wayne Kastning

Assistant Professor, MCD


Wayne Kastning is an Assistant Professor in the Fashion Design department in the School of Media : Culture : Design at Woodbury University.

With over 35 years of experience in the fashion industry he has designed for a wide range of companies in New York and Los Angeles, including Carolina Herrera, Adele Simpson and Helga. Wayne currently produces custom designs for his own label, WK Studio.

During Wayne’s career his clothes have been sold in top retail outlets such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman’s and a wide range of specialty stores and boutiques across the country.
Wayne has been privileged to have his clothes worn by many of America’s most prominent and influential women including First Ladies, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barbara Bush, Pat Nixon and Lady Bird Johnson.

As a teacher Wayne is dedicated to sharing his professional knowledge and wide ranging skill set with his students while helping them achieve their goals.
