Ricardo Roldan

Adjunct Professor


Dr. Roldán is an accomplished structural engineer with over 15 years of experience in the assessment of existing structures and design and management of complex engineering projects. He shares his earthquake engineering and Mass Timber knowledge constantly via workshops and lectures. His expertise extends to design management for AWS Data Centers, where he has successfully led architectural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical teams on large-scale projects.  Throughout his career, Ricardo has played a pivotal role in advancing engineering practices and standards, contributing to multiple code-writing committees both nationally and internationally that shape industry building codes.
