Students Network with Major Accounting Firms
On September 26, the Accounting program – in close collaboration with the Career Services department – held “Meet the Firms: Accounting Industry Night” at Woody’s on campus.
Eight accounting firms and dozens of students attended the annual event which consisted of a panel discussion and networking opportunity. Representatives from CLA LLP, Ernst & Young, Kirsch Kohn & Bridge LLP, Miller Kaplan, Moss Adams, Neumeister & Associates, Robert Half, and RSM were all in attendance.
During the panel session, the accounting professionals shared their expertise and experience, and also provided tips to students looking for opportunities in the accounting field. The event included a welcome from Woodbury President David Steele-Figueredo and Accounting co-chair, Dr. Kevin Park, moderated the discussions.
“Meet the Firms: Accounting Industry Night” is widely recognized by students as a valuable opportunity for them to meet and learn from a variety of accounting professionals.
