The Department of Psychology is pleased to announce that its long awaited research lab will open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at noon. The Gilbert Psychology Lab was made possible through a generous anonymous donation. This facility will serve our students by providing them space and a facility in which to conduct their Senior thesis projects as well as a meeting space for majors who engage focus groups. The facility will house the iWorx physiology research equipment which will allow students to expand their research capabilities to include testing heart-rate, respiration, blood pressure, galvanic skin response and more. With the installation of a one-way mirror, it will also allow students to conduct observational studies without being obtrusive to participants.
