Three Recent Woodbury Animation Grads Have Films Selected for Film Festival

The Animation Department of the School of Media, Culture & Design is proud to announce that three of our recent 2016 graduates have been selected to screen their senior thesis films at the fourth annual 2017 Pasadena International Film Festival.

From March 8 – 16, the PIFF showcases more than 100 films from over fifteen countries which includes feature films, shorts, documentaries, animation, web series, and music videos.

Anna Sher’s, Unlike a Dragon, the tale of a curious girl’s encounter with dragons, screens on Sunday, March 12, in BLock 12: The Time of our Lives at noon.

Swan Oh and Cynthia Nava present, Dolled Up, the story of a young woman’s obesssions, which screens on Sunday March 12, in Block 14: Power Grrrls! at 5pm.

A moderated Q & A will be held after each programming block. Please join us in congratulating all three Woodbury animators and show your support by attending the Pasadena International Film Festival.
