Pop-up COVID Vaccination Clinic On Our Burbank Campus on August 14th, 2021.

Dear campus community,

Last Saturday (7/24/21), Woodbury hosted Providence Saint Joseph’s drive-thru COVID vaccination clinic. We are happy to report that this event gave out 76 vaccinations! We are ecstatic as these events were only averaging around 20 shots.

The Pfizer shots will be available again on Saturday, August 14th, and will give out both the first and second shots.

This event will again be made available to those in the Burbank area and surrounding areas and all Woodbury students, faculty, and staff.

We are incredibly proud that Woodbury University plays such an instrumental role in getting our surrounding community members vaccinated! Please click here to see COVID-19 Vaccinations in LA County.

If you would like to get vaccinated on August 14th, we highly encourage Woodbury community members to email our campus nurse [email protected] and provide your first and last name, date of birth, and phone number ahead of time. This information will be confidential and only used for Providence to create an appointment for you via MyTurn.Ca.Gov. By sending your information ahead of time, your check-in process will be expedited on the day of your appointment.

With Woodbury’s plan to require the COVID-19 vaccine, it is highly recommended that our community members take advantage of this event. The immunization drive-thru can be accessed by entering campus through the Cabrini Gate, located off Cabrini on our northwest entrance. The event will also accommodate walk-ups.

We’ve all seen how immunization has played an instrumental role in opening our state, yet, the largest group of those still unvaccinated are those 18-29. This is concerning as this group makes up a considerable amount of our campus community.

These concerns are understandable. As such, we would like to provide factual and accurate information about the COVID-19 vaccines below.

Is the COVID-19 Vaccine Safe?

We hope that those who are unvaccinated take advantage of this pop-up event and help put the COVID-19 pandemic behind us.

As always, if you have any questions, please email [email protected]
