Message From Our Nurse: April 7, 2020

Dear Campus Community:

As part of our work to build relationships and to protect our campus community, we make every effort to keep our campus information current. This enables us to serve you better while strengthening our oversight to ensure we keep everyone healthy.

These are extraordinary times, and with the ever-changing landscape, there are a lot of unknowns. Our focus remains on the health and safety of our students and community members. We know you are being inundated with outreach right now, so we will keep this brief.

As of April 7, 2020, Woodbury University has no known cases of COVID-19 in our community. As the campus nurse, I am keeping myself updated and informed with all the changes that are happening daily. As part of keeping this information current, if you are feeling ill, I am asking you to complete this form. I will follow up with anyone who submits a form to provide information and support while you navigate this process. Additionally, if you know anyone that is feeling ill, please inform them that I am a resource for our community and have them complete the form.  Please note that all inquiries remain confidential.

I am going to continue to follow up with those who submitted a form already, as this an integral responsibility that follows under my job duties. Specifically, it is part of my job to make sure that our campus community stays safe and healthy. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me at 818-252-5238 or [email protected]

If you are experiencing severe shortness of breath and persistent chest pain, please seek medical attention immediately.

Thank you for all your help during this trying time. Stay safe and healthy!
