MArch Student Sweta Joshi Wins AWAF Scholarship

Shweta Joshi, student in the Master of Architecture program at Woodbury University, was awarded an  AWAF Scholarship this May.

“The AWAF scholarship means a lot to me,” said Joshi. “I feel more welcomed than ever before. This scholarship also encourages me to work towards my goals with renewed vigor.”

The Association for Women in Architecture Foundation (AWAF) was established in 1997 to raise funds and extend financial support to women students and, soon, to women professionals.

Lise Bornstein, AWAF Board Member and Scholarship Chair, congratulated Joshi on her scholarship and noted, “we were impressed with your work and your dedication to design.” The AWAF Scholarship Award Event was held on May 14 at the offices of Mia Lehrer + Associates in downtown Los Angeles.
