Join us for our 2017 Fall Lecture Series Emerging Practices. All lectures and exhibitions are free and open to the public.
As a reflection of culture, architecture continuously repositions itself and its extents. By questioning accepted boundaries and limits, contemporary practice extends to the periphery in efforts to strengthen and redefine its center. Understanding practice as both applied ideas and repeated exercise, the Emerging Practices lecture series engages an extended range of frameworks across and outside the built environment. Bringing together rising practitioners, theorists, venture incubators, and strategic designers, the series draws out divergent ideas to reorient the profession to more integral and interdisciplinary roles.
