A Los Angeles native, Artineh Aladadian enrolled at Woodbury to study Communication with the goal of one day working in the dynamic field of public relations.
This proud member of the Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society graduated in 2020 with high honors, earning a B.A. in Communication with a focus in both strategic communication and media studies.
Artineh says her time as a student at Woodbury is an experience she will never forget, with favorite courses that include Cultural Studies, Media History, Surveillance and Culture, and Senior Thesis, to name a few. Artineh’s favorite part of Woodbury’s Communication program? The intimate class sizes, which allowed for in-depth conversations and helped her build strong relationships with both professors and peers.
Artineh began working at Interdependence Public Relations after graduation, where she has worked her way up to a Senior Account Executive position. In her current role, Artineh maintains media relations and supports client communication and strategy with responsibilities that include drafting press releases, strategy plans, byline articles, pitch writing, and managing overall client communication — putting to use the strong speaking, writing, and analytical thinking skills she honed at Woodbury.
Artineh’s experience is in B2B and B2C public relations, spanning a wide range of verticals including fintech, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, enterprise software, smart optics, digital advertising, cryptocurrency, real estate, fashion, non-profit, and entertainment. Artineh has generated results for her clients by securing impactful media coverage in outlets including Forbes, Business Insider, FOX News, CNN, Axios, U.S. News & World Report, Money, WIRED Magazine, ZDNet, International Business Times, GOBankingRates, The Denver Post, and Business Journals, as well as a variety of other national and trade publications.
Artineh’s ultimate dream? Working as a PR specialist for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) — a goal she hopes to pursue in the future.
