Announcing Woodbury's 2nd Annual Upcycled Books Competition!

National Library Week is coming in April, and we will be celebrating with a week of workshops, contests, and events at the library, including the Upcycled Books Competition. This is your opportunity to transform discarded library books into works of art. All of the entries will be showcased at our Library Open House on Thursday, April 14th, and the winners will receive Amazon gift cards! To participate, just follow the three easy steps below:

Step #1 Get Books
Request up to three boxes of withdrawn books at the library circulation desk while supplies last.

Step # 2 Transform
Design and construct an original object, model, or art instillation prominently featuring books.

Step #3 Submit & Win!
Bring your creation to the Library Plaza between 9am- 4pm on Thursday April 14th. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, and craftsmanship. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners will receive $100, $50, & $25 in Amazon gift cards, respectively. Only one entry per person. Winners will be announced during the Library Open House, April 14th 4-7pm.
