Resulting from the recently featured work of The RED Office (an architecture & development firm founded by Woodbury’s MS Arch RED faculty and alumni) as the 2nd place winner at this year’s AIA ‘Look Up’ Film Challenge, Hector M Perez was invited to deliver a keynote speech at this year’s AIAS FORUM. This conference is the AIAS signature conference and is the largest annual gathering of architecture students in the world.
The 2015 AIAS FORUM will be held in San Francisco from December 29, 2015-January 2, 2016. This year’s theme, Bandwidth, describes the width or capacity of a communications channel. It’s as much about who you know as what you know. Entrepreneurs, start-ups and architects alike communicate and collaborate extensively. How can we get more bandwidth? We will be exploring the influence of entrepreneurship, public interest design, and the tech industries on the practice and education of architecture, and in turn the impact on the built environment.
Keynote Speech by Hector Perez:
December 31, 2015
7:00pm – 8:00pm
Marriott Marquis Hotel
San Francisco, CA
