There will be two Open House events on May 7, 2016 at each of the sites with culminating work from the Agency for Civic Engagement (ACE) architecture Spring design studios. The Bowtie Project is one of them.
ACE in partnership with California State Parks, Clockshop, and LA Más invits you to the unveiling of the newest respite along the LA River.
The Bowtie Project is the site of two new structures: Tunnel Vision, a viewing pavilion; and The Bench People, a project with innovative lounge structures. These two projects contribute to the body of works on this site providing cultural amenities in an effort to activate a park space that has been closed to the public for over a decade.
Join us in celebration of a semester’s work by Woodbury University’s architecture students. Light refreshments will be served. No RSVP necessary.
