I am profoundly saddened by the mass shooting last night in Thousand Oaks. The senseless loss of life — including the lives of so many young and promising college students — is heartbreaking. On behalf of the entire Woodbury community, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who were affected by this tragedy in our neighboring Southern California community.
While terrible events like these are challenging to comprehend, as we have seen following similar incidents around our nation, communities often come together in such trying times. I ask that the entire Woodbury community please join me in keeping those who have been affected in their thoughts. We offer our strongest support to our neighbors in Thousand Oaks as they work to recover from this horrific tragedy.
