Michael Peguero

Adjunct Faculty


Michael Peguero is a digital media artist, educator, and founder of United Futures, a tech-focused creative studio practicing at the intersection of visual art, new media, and immersive environments. With a background in architecture and a strong interest in emerging technologies, he creates spatial experiences that seamlessly blend physical and digital interaction. His work examines themes of collective agency, the limits of representation, and the environment as interface.

His professional portfolio spans augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), projection mapping, and digital art, with notable clients including Amazon, Pierre Huyghe, Hulu, Hito Steyerl and the National Geographic. With projects that have been showcased at the Whitney Museum, the Serpentine Gallery, the Venice Biennale, and SxSW. His personal work has been featured in residencies and exhibitions, including CultureHub’s artist residency, CICA’s New Media Art exhibition, and Re-Fest Los Angeles.

Michael Peguero holds a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. As an educator, he teaches university-level courses in applied mathematics for computer media arts, new media, augmented and virtual reality and artificial intelligence. He also curates lecture series on emerging topics in technology and media arts.

In his free time, he enjoys gardening and reading books on mathematics.
