Jordana Maisie Goot

Adjunct Faculty

Jordana is the Creative Director of Jordana Maisie Design Studio (JMDS), an interdisciplinary studio based in Los Angeles and New York.  JMDS creates innovative design solutions with a dedication to artistic thinking, craftsmanship, the latent potential of materials and technology. Above all else, JMDS is profoundly committed to creating heightened user experience across architecture, installation, furniture, and lighting design.

Prior to working in the field of architecture, Jordana began her career as an Installation Artist, her work has been shown in galleries, museums and festivals throughout Australia, Asia and Europe, for which she won the Art & Australia Credit Suisse Private Banking Contemporary Art Award.

About her practice, Art & Australia Magazine wrote: “Maisie consciously allows her audience and inventions to influence the form, she heralds a fresh relationship between interface and viewer – one that is intuitive, unlimited and, above all, equal.”

Prior to the founding of JMDS, Jordana worked with world-renowned architecture studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro in NYC.  Since, she has gone on to design and execute critically acclaimed residential, commercial and art–based projects, both nationally and internationally.
