Jeremy Mowery

Assistant Professor, Animation + VFX


Jeremy Mowery is a Los Angeles based Director, Editor, and Animator specializing in narrative, documentary and music videos. He earned an MFA in Film and Television with an emphasis in editing from Mount Saint Mary’s University. His cinematic works have screened at festivals around the world. His short comedy, “The Last Tamale,” won the Most Original Concept Award at the Houston Comedy Film Festival 2018 and his graduate thesis film, “S.O.S. – A Stop Motion Music Video” won the Silver Award for Best Student Stop Motion film at the Los Angeles Animation Festival 2019. He continues to do freelance work as an animator and editor, while teaching stop motion animation at Woodbury University.
