Adam Wood

Associate Professor of Management | Assessment Officer


Adam Wood earned a Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Organizational Behavior from the University of Southern California, M.A. in psychology from the University of Colorado, and B.A. from the University of Chicago. His research interests are focused in the areas of interpersonal perception, leadership, negotiation and decision making, especially as they impact organizational dynamics and culture. Using multi-method designs, this line of work examines individual, dyadic, and group determinants of emotion regulation and recognition. In addition to his global consulting experience in leadership development training, Dr. Wood has several years of prior industry experience as a management and technology consultant in both the United States and Europe with Visa, Sybase, Federal Express, and American Management Systems. He is a published author and has presented at numerous academic conferences, including the Academy of Management and American Psychological Association. He is a member of the Academy of Management, American Psychological Society, Society for Personality and Social Psychology, and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
