Mamun Hashem

Adjunct Faculty

I have gained professional experience working at prestigious firms such as Gensler, HOK, Westfield, and HNTB and boutique firms such as Corsini Stark Architects and Studio Mai. Living in several cities, including Los Angeles, Kansas City, Dallas, and Dhaka – Bangladesh, has heavily impacted my creative and professional works.

I have worked on a wide variety of project types, including creative office spaces, mixed-use, hospitality, financial institutions, urban planning, amusement parks, outdoor events, aviation, and sports architecture. Some of my most recent projects include a Duty-Free Shop at Midfield Satellite Airport in Los Angeles and two high-end restaurants in the Los Angeles Arts District. In my free time, I run a multicultural creative studio where studio members focus on painting and photography.

I received the Distinguished Instructor Award in 2022 at UCLA Extension for my outstanding educational contribution since 2019.
