Angela Fentiman has nearly two decades of experience in the field of communications, specializing in public relations, media relations, online communication, crisis communication, community outreach, governmental relations and speechwriting.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant, she founded and served as CEO & Managing Partner of a public relations and public affairs firm in Los Angeles. Now she divides her time between educating the next generation of communications professionals and helping clients build strong relationships through effective communication. In addition to teaching at Woodbury University, she is an instructor at UCLA Extension, and an adjunct professor at California Lutheran.

She spent nearly six years as a member of in-house communications teams in the energy sector, overseeing communications, community outreach, charitable giving and local government affairs for Brookfield Renewable’s development projects across the United States and Canada. Prior to joining Brookfield, she served as a communications manager, executive speechwriter and company spokesperson for Southern California Gas Company. Angela spent nearly five years as the Director of External Affairs for the Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA), a noted business advocacy organization.
