Dr. Arash Soleimani will take on the role of Associate Professor and Chair of Computer Science Design Computation and Chair of Computer Science Media Arts in the Woodbury School of Architecture effective August 16, 2022.
“Dr. Soleimani is an internationally recognized expert in Design Computation,” says Heather Flood, Interim Dean of the WSOA. “His research agenda has advanced the field and his administrative expertise will give shape to the computer science programs in the WSOA.”
Dr. Soleimani has been awarded for his projects and contributions in the field of Design Computation in multiple conferences, funded research grants, and community-based projects. Previously, Dr. Soleimani taught at Kennesaw State University, University of North Carolina-Charlotte, and Clemson University.
